Scope affirms AA+ asset management rating for Deka Immobilien

The independent rating agency Scope has once again confirmed the asset management quality of Deka Immobilien in 2026 with a rating of AA+ (AMR). In its current rating dated 16 June 2026, Scope thus attests to Deka Immobilien's very good quality and high level of expertise in asset management for the 14th time in a row. This consistency is a strong signal to our investors and partners.

Outstanding management quality: Scope confirms the outstanding quality and asset management competency at Deka Immobilien in its latest rating 2026.

Scope rating: The following factors were particularly highlighted:

  • its excellent positioning as a major player in the European investment markets
  •  its highly diversified product range
  • its very strong local presence in international investment markets, with excellent access to assets
  • the very strong operational asset management, which in turn is reflected in high letting performance and occupancy rates
  • the very high standards in operational processes, with a focus on process resilience and a sophisticated risk management system.

Open-ended real estate funds rating 2026

Scope Rating confirms the high quality of Deka’s open-ended property funds. All Deka real estate funds rated achieved positive returns and were well above the average for their respective peer groups.

  • Deka-ImmobilienEuropa and WestInvestInterSelect continue to be rated in the highest category (a- AIF). This places them among the top four retail public funds in the rating.
  • Deka-ImmobilienMetropolen continues to be recognised as having a balanced risk-return ratio and, with an occupancy rate of over 99%, is considered fully let.
  • Deka-ImmobilienGlobal has once again achieved the best rating among global funds. According to Scope, the fund is particularly impressive due to the very high quality of its locations and the excellent regional diversification of its portfolio.
  • Deka-ImmobilienNordamerika continues to be recognised as having a balanced risk-return profile. According to Scope, the fund is characterised in particular by very high-quality locations, fungible property sizes and predominantly long-term tenancy agreements.

Scope Awards 2026: Three reasons to celebrate.

Deka Immobilien took home three prizes at the Scope Alternative Investment Awards 2026 as Best Asset Manager in the category Real Estate Global for the third time in a row and in the category Retail Real Estate Europe for the fifth time in a row. Deka Immobilien's institutional real estate business won the award in the Institutional Real Estate Europe category for the third time this year, following 2020 and 2021.

The triple accolade was accompanied by three further top placement for 2026 in the following categories:

  • Best Asset Manager Real Estate Logistics
  • Best Asset Manager ESG Commercial Real Estate
  • Best Asset Manager Innovation Real Assets

The Scope Awards look back on a long tradition and were presented for the 20th time. They are considered to be the leading honours for fund and asset managers in the German-speaking world. Once a year, they recognise the leading fund concepts as well as outstanding services in fund management and asset management. The assessment criteria include both fund management and the investment process.
