Deka Immobilien has signed a lease agreement for approximately 7,400 sqm of office space at WYSE OFFICES in the Berlin-Mitte district. A public sector occupier has secured the space on a long-term basis and will move into the premises following refurbishment and fit-out works in early 2027. With this lease transaction, the property is now fully let. The property is held in an open-ended real estate fund designed for institutional investors.
The lease was concluded in direct connection with investments aimed at enhancing and repositioning the property. As part of these measures, the ground-floor lobby was redesigned and a showcase floor was created to demonstrate a range of modern workplace concepts. The office space had previously been let on a floor-by-floor basis to companies from various industries. Upon completion of the refurbishment works, the new occupier will consolidate the space and occupy it as a single contiguous office environment from the first quarter of 2027.
The eight-storey office building has been awarded a BREEAM In-Use rating of “Very Good”. It offers a total lettable area of 18,591 sqm and is located at Potsdamer Platz. The property benefits from excellent public transport connections and close proximity to Berlin Central Station. A wide range of restaurants and amenities is also available within walking distance.
