Deka Immobilien has secured another strong tenant for Kinzigbogen retail park in Hanau with toom Baumarkt – a valuable addition to the tenant mix and a significant boost to the location’s appeal.
Following an extensive renovation and adaptation to the DIY retailer’s modern concept, the toom store is set to open in autumn 2025. The refurbishment includes a complete redesign of the interior with updated shelving systems and product assortments, along with the implementation of cutting-edge, resource-efficient technologies. Once completed, the state-of-the-art toom store will feature a sales area of approximately 10,000 sqm.
Kinzigbogen is one of the largest retail parks in the Hanau and Main-Kinzig region, located on the former Hanau-Nord railway construction site. Since its opening in 2012, Kinzigbogen has offered visitors excellent accessibility at Luise-Kiesselbach-Straße, allowing them to complete their shopping conveniently without parking fees.
The property is part of the Domus Deutschland Fund by Deka Immobilien, which consistently focuses on sustainable and future-proof retail locations. The long-term lease with toom reinforces the high quality of the location and reaffirms the fund’s successful strategy. It also serves as another prime example of Deka Immobilien’s long-term positioning in the retail sector.
